Outdoor Signage Helped My Lemonade Business 501

I dreamed to start my own business one time and I wanted to start small. I have thought of selling lemonades one morning. The night before, I’ve envisioned of my lemonade booth with cups arranged perfectly in rows and plenty of customers in line to pay. So early in the morning the next day, I jumped off my bed and went ahead to do what I envisioned. I started setting my booth using our old card table topped with our red checkered tablecloth. I arranged my cups in rows just the way I envisioned it and placed a bowl with bright lemons to make my booth appealing. And of course, I placed a huge outdoor sign saying “Lemonade 25 cents only” for people to clearly see what I am selling.  When everything else was set, I waited for customers.

There were some cars that passed by. Some neighbors saw me and my booth and gave me a wave and a smile. Out of the passers-by there were a few who bought my refreshing ice-cold lemonade. It was not the scene imagined because the cash flow was so slow. I needed more people to see my both. I needed more people to come to my booth and buy plenty of lemonade cups. I needed more income within a targeted time-frame because I still need to pay my dad back for the capital I borrowed. I did not lose hope but became more determined to succeed and so

I researched about business and checked my competitors.

I have a business competitor, Lucy. I realized she had a good custom banner and it was a lot better than mine. Her signage has interchangeable parts, particularly on the price area. She can easily adjust her price basing on her supply and demand balance. She can add and remove a part that announces “open” or “close”, similar to a doctor’s door sign “the doctor is in/out”.

After that moment of realization, I instantly did something about changing my current signage. I did some re-measuring and snipping of my boring old table cloth using my mother’s best sewing materials. I transformed my old table cloth into something sassy and stunning. I recreated my table too. I installed two metal rods to become table legs to function as the stakes of my outdoor signage at the same time. It still announces “lemonade 25 cents” but bigger, bolder and clearer. I used my plastic cups by cutting a small slit per cut so it can be attached on top of the custom signage to make it more inviting and clearer that I’m selling lemonade drinks per cup. My signage became 3-dimensional and so I added a new feature which is a big arrow at directly points to my fresh lemonade booth.

The change I made created a big difference. I got what I envisioned. I was able to pay my dad and bought my mom new sewing materials to replace what I used. I realized that a good outdoor signage can lead to a successful business.

The Best Lemon Outdoor Signage Ever 531

A few years back, I remember preparing for my lemonade business one early morning. I put the cups together in well-lined rows in my head and imagined throngs of customers eager to hand me their cash. When I finally woke up, I immediately got out of bed to make my dream a reality. I looked at our old card table and it was perfect for my setup. I placed a red checkered tablecloth over it and again put the cups together in straight lines. There were also bowls of fresh yellow lemons to attract customers. I made sure I had a large outdoor sign saying “Lemonade 25 cents” to let my potential customers what the fuss was all about. I waited for several minutes, then the minutes turned into hours.

I watched multiple cars pass through the hours. Some of my neighbors passed and gave me a big smile. Later on, I managed to sell a few cups of cold lemonade. However, it was not the way I intended things to happen. I wanted dozens of customers by the minute. I wanted to showcase my product in the best way possible. I also started to think about the money I needed to pay my father back for starting my little business.

I decided to assess what it was that I could have not done right. Looking at Lucy’s custom banner, I realized that hers was more attractive and live. It featured various colors and she had a changeable sign so she can easily change the price depending on the demand. It was quite similar to the sign I saw outside my doctor’s office, indicating whether he was in or out. Lucy’s sign was very convenient and beautiful.

I realized that I needed to grab the attention of my target customers in the same manner so I immediately got to work. I used my mother’s sewing shears, even though these were only for fabrics. I transformed the plain tablecloth into an advertising art piece. The upper portion still let people know that I was selling lemonade at 25 cents per cup. The bottom portion was covered by the tablecloth, which gave my setup a more unique shape and look. I put a couple of metal rods and stakes to drive my outdoor signage into the ground. I further cut slits at the bottom of the plastic cups so I could link these to the top of my custom outdoor signs. These appeared very inviting, placed over the sign. The setup had a 3-dimensional effect which also included a large arrow that guided customers where my setup was located.

Because of the changes I came up with, the multitudes of customers I dreamed of became a reality. I managed to pay my loan immediately and even gifted my mom a new pair of sewing shears. My lemonade stand sold a lot more lemonade after I changed the sign and overall look. I realized how people can get drawn to well-made signs, regardless of the product.

Business strategies should change depending on the season but I discovered how outdoor signage always stay dependable throughout the year and regardless of the new technologies that emerge.

Making Outdoor Campaigns through Custom Banners

Outdoor ad is a popular product of a marketing strategy to give information about a certain product or service of a business. This is a widely used strategy but not all outdoor signage is effective enough to capture the attention of many people. This is why it is important to be creative when making outdoor custom banners.

A factor to consider for outdoor ads is the location and time of exposure. It is wise to invest on a location wherein an ad can be seen by someone for a longer period than just a few seconds. For roadside billboards, the more visible it is seen from a long distance the more time it can be seen, and the more time people can read and understand what the ad says.

Along with the location of an ad is its size. In order for it to be seen from farther distance, it must be big enough so the contents can be clearly seen.

Another factor to ponder is the quantity of texts in the ad. An outdoor ad is usually seen by people who are mobile. Usually it only takes seconds to read an ad. The fewer and the simpler words there are in a custom banner the friendlier it is for the eyes of the viewers. More specific details can be added in a manner that can make the ad still pleasing to the eyes if done with the right font style, size, and color.

Making outdoor signage is an investment. It is best to look for an experienced manufacturer who can produce a durable and effective ad.

Reasons Why an Outdoor Signage is Good for Your Business

It is a constant challenge for every business on how to increase sales. It must not always resort to cutting down expenses in order to get a considerable profit. At times all it need is to put up a good outdoor signage to encourage potential customers to buy from your business. It doesn’t require someone to actually buy or look for something they need in order to get inside a store. Sometimes you don’t even need to have a bizarre product to bring in people to come in. A good outdoor signage can do the trick.

An outdoor signage is considered a point of sale signage. Meaning, by just looking at the signage it has the ability to influence customers or potential customers on their purchasing decision. This marketing scheme is like a silent salesman who does the talking and convincing for you.

An example of how effective an outdoor signage is the sign “Happy Hours from 12PM to 6PM” that some bars usually place near their entrance. Bars are usually dead during the times mentioned in the signage but thru the simple ad it can definitely bring in customers within non-peak hours.

Influencing a society can also be one of the capabilities of an outdoor signage. What are written or what images the ads suggests are something that people can recall easily even without intentionally thinking about it.

So in order to boost sales of the business, think of an outdoor signage. It is not a complicating scheme and it’s affordable too.

Moroccan Roots, Moroccan Flag

The present day Moroccan flag is an adaptation of the flag used in 1956. Nevertheless the original pattern was first used as early as 1666. For those who are still unfamiliar of the country’s flag, it is a plain red background with a green star in the middle, bordered by a black outline. What makes the Moroccan flag unique is the way it is represented. There are two versions of the flag being used other than the original. A civil ensign is used and is situated on the upper left corner of the flag, while the other has all its corners marked with the civil ensign. This sign is colored bright yellow, similar to a crown with a star atop it pattern.

A Muslim country, Morocco takes its flag design from an inspiration of the royal descent from the prophet Muhammad, and related to Ali’s wife Fatima. The red color holds great importance and significance with the Sharifs and Imams. Originally, the flag was just plain red, without any signs or symbols. It was only more recent when the star was added.

The modern world ushered in new political shifts and governance. By 1915, it changed its way of governance, with Malay Yusuf as the head of state. With this, he declared that there should be a seal of Solomon on the flag, such that the symbol would depict a pentangle or a similar shape like that of a star. Originally, the seal of Solomon was also referred to as the Star of David, much like that star used in the Israeli flag. However, due to its association of the occult, the star’s six pointed shape had to be modified to the present-day five-pointed upright star, and was done during World War I.

How Important is the American Flag?

We all know that every national flag is at least important to the corresponding country it represents. However, not so many flags are able to instill the importance of its presence beyond its territory such as the American Flag. Commonly referred to as the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ or the ‘Old Glory’, and sometimes ‘Ole Betsy’, this embodiment of the American dream is perhaps the most globally known national flag.

It is no wonder that the relatively young nation’s flag is known throughout the globe. It has been through a densely packed history in a relatively short amount of time. Since its founding as the New World by the European voyagers during the Age of Exploration, to the final decisive battles that would garner it its freedom, the American flag has been the symbol of independence and freedom. The familiar stars and stripes is recognized by the global community as a superpower in terms of military and economic might.

Barely 3 centuries old, it has been able to practice its right for sovereignty to the full extent, taking part in international laws and policies that would both strengthen and secure its ties with other nations. From the 13 original states during the battle for independence, up to the present day 50-strong state federation, the American flag embodies the values that were fought for over the years – trust, sovereignty, freedom, justice, equality, security, honor, excellence, and all other majestic virtues that make a superpower country.

Just how much important is the American flag? It just is as important as the existence of a running, co-existing, and interactively functioning world order we enjoy today.
