Custom flags are one of the popular items that are usually seen displayed at many public places. Example of a place wherein custom flags or flags from all other countries in the world are commonly seen is inside hospitals. There are plenty of hospitals that have flags flying at the main entrances or front lawns that can be easily seen when doctors, patients and other visitors enter the building. Flags represent nationalities or countries of owners, doctor or even staff of the hospital, or basically the people that compose hospital. As much as some hospitals would like to include the nationalities of all patients they serve but that will be impossible to do since American hospitals basically serve people from all nations. It is a common knowledge that United States is a melting pot of people coming from different countries.
Another public place that has several country custom flags displayed is at children’s camp in Colorado. This camp is has children participants from almost all parts of the world and the country. Children who are new to this experience and being away from their parents tend to be scared and intimidated. As these children walk inside their main lodges they will feel more welcomed and at home when they see something familiar from their home such as seeing their own flags.
It is good for places like hospitals and camp sites to display custom flags of different countries because aside that they represent people, flags are also colorful and beautiful to look at.
