If you take time to check, there is actually a close resemblance between the national flag of the Republic of China and the People’s Republic of China banner. The closeness will lead to confusion and misunderstanding to viewers as to the background and owners of each flag. The flag of the People’s Republic of China stands for the Chinese flag while the Republic of China stands for Taiwan.
