Faith Flags Should Not Be Idols

Faith flags are not intended to be worshipped but must serve as instruments in honoring the Heavenly Lord. People should always remember that these are mere things and should not be worshipped. Although people spend countless hours in the beautiful designs, the flags will increase in value and beauty but these should be used properly in ushering people into God’s kingdom. The emphasis should always be on God and not on the flags. These are intended to help bring others to God and show our respect and loyalty to the Father.

I always pray that the things that I mention here equip individuals with the creativity and power to lead godly and successful lives. God has gifted us with different skills, traits and talents so we should use these in the most special ways too. The Holy Spirit is responsible in guiding us to the right path if only we learn how to listen. One of our biggest goals in this world is to minister and share the word to others and restore the world’s faith in God alone.

Whenever you take the time to read the Bible, I hope that you will have a renewed sense of self and being. I pray that God will reveal Himself to you and restore your faith so that no evil or temptation can ever come close. The image and message that He leaves should stay with you forever so use these in the best ways and share in the responsibility given to His children. The faith flag will help accomplish this without taking away the focus from God.

The Basic Rules When Making Faith Flags

I have been making a lot of flags for so many years and would like to help you come up with the most brilliant designs. Oftentimes, I tend to position faith flags measuring as much as five feet and more on a fishing rod, making sure that these stay high above everyone else. The fishing rod has been especially designed to be comfortable on the hands and durable enough to catch the largest fish. I simply cut the final foot from the tip of the rod to avoid overreaching.

When trying to find out the right rod size to use, the length of the flag will help come up with the proper fit. When I use a flag measuring seven feet in length, I would use a rod that measures anywhere between seven and twelve feet. When I’m using a flag measuring twelve feet in length, I would pick a rod measuring at least twelve feet too. Some individuals like to spin flags so they position small ones on a metal spinning rod or a wooden dowel.

I use contact paper measuring about 1.5 inches on the inner part of the flag when I’m making small sizes. This provides a great sewing guide to maintain the proper alignment of the sleeve. I also find that this properly fits around a dowel measuring 3/8 inch. For the handle, I take a 1.5-inch wooden ball and for the spacing, I use a 3/8-inch vinyl tubing. The faith flag is then attached to the rod and then the tip is capped to prevent the flag from being blown away.
