Soccer is said to have originated in one country but its popularity is known throughout the world. There are domestic kinds of games that only represent certain company brands or teams; there are also international soccer games because each team represent a country.
Soccer flag is a well-known representation of a team not only used by the teams themselves but by fans. Flags can represent a team thru its design, color scheme, text of chants/ slogans associated to a team, or even thru faces of a team’s players. But the most common representation is showing the image of a team’s symbolism. As for international games that countries compete, soccer flags can be simply the flag of the competing country.
During the opening ceremony of international games, the national anthem of a competing country is sung and it is the best time that flags are being hung, waived and held high by supporters. It is a way to show support and encouragement to the players even before the game starts.
As much as soccer flags are readily available, not all are brought to the actual games. It is because not all supporters or fans have the opportunity to personally go to the games. But the allegiance is not limited to actual games but it can be shown in other ways. Soccer fans can display flags inside their homes for visitors to see. Flags can look great being hung in the living rooms, bed rooms, or in the TV rooms where soccer games are being watched.
