If you look at the US Military flag, you will notice 175 streamers on the pole. All these stand for the different
journeys and campaigns that the group has been in through the decades. Every regiment in the Army will have their
own type of the Army flag. The battles they’ve been in will be represented by the streamers, featuring the particular
troop. Every unit will definitely have its very own banner which is usually shown just beneath the Army flag.
The Marine Corps flag comes in scarlet. The emblem is in gold and gray and you will find a white ribbon scroll in
white with “United States Marine Corps” in white letters. The approaches and methods of the Marine Corps are very
much the same as in the Army.
The US Navy flag will come in navy blue and the seal of the department will be found in gold and white just above a
gold ribbon scroll. You will also notice “United States Navy” in dark blue. Some types will have battle streamers while
others will not have any on the staff.
The Navy flag is not usually presented in outdoor locations. These are not regularly seen in naval bases as well as
on ships at sea. Ships in port might showcase the flag on the quarterdeck. Some ships in port will also feature the US
flag at the back of the ship. While at sea, the national flag is featured on the main mast. Some ships in port will also
present the jack. It is a tiny flag that is a fraction of the size of the US flag.
