Nations of the world have their own country’s representation in the form of world flags. Each country having a different pattern form the other, no two nations are alike. While some may have a very similar design, it may be due to shifting powers of political influence over the course of history.
Each nation deserves the same amount of respect and treatment as every nation is an independently existing entity among others, but the level of popularity and acknowledgement at any time is determined by the level of influence it had all over this planet of ours. May it be political, military, or achievements and breakthroughs, the flag that represents the success or failure determine how much popularity or notoriety it will have.
Probably, the majority of people in the world would know the star spangled banner, the stars and stripes, and the “red, white, and blue”. All of these terms pertain to the sovereign that is the United States of America. All around across the different continents, The US may have somehow influenced the existence and of nations in some way.Even with a relatively young independence, it has greatly contributed to different countries’ independence as well. It is known as the world police in some accounts, keeping the balance and order of nations.
Another super power is Japan, with its simple yet very iconic red circle. It actually represents the sun that rises on the East. It also symbolizes the grandeur and potential of the country, very much like the potential events which would occur as the sun rises and illuminates the land below.
Even the British, being one of the earliest nations to become a superpower during the age of exploration, has its influence over colonies now turned countries. Its Union Jack is seen among many other countries that have previously been a colony of England.
