The Truth About Custom Table Drapes

Myth: Today, full color printing is cheaper and provides a more aesthetic look compared to traditional screen printing because of the enhanced technology. It is cheaper to use full color prints today than screen printing and using only a single tone. Many companies advertise today using full color photos for their products in high resolution. The custom table drapes usually measure about 6 feet and are priced as low as $120 to $159 depending on the source. Full coverage prints that span the entire length of the material are cheaper today because of the better methods available.

Printed tablecloths should always be dry cleaned.

Myth: Dry cleaning is not recommended for printed tablecloths and spandex covers because of the harsh chemicals. It is actually better to use cold water and then tumble dry in low temperature.

Purchase several tablecloths for different trade show tables.

Myth: When going to trade shows, you will notice tables of various sizes. You do not need to buy tablecloths for each size or type of table surface in special events. There are now adjustable materials that will span the whole length of 6-foot tables or feature the drape look if the table measures 8 feet. Some drapes claim to be adjustable but fail to fully cover the table top especially when placed over an 8-foot table. The true definition of adjustable is having the ability to cover surfaces regardless of the total area. The custom table cover should adequately cover the surface of any table during trade shows.
