When buying the right flagpole, you might like to visit a warehouse or storage area first. I visited one in the
western part of America recently and discovered many aluminum and steel flagpoles. Flags have been a
booming business for years and the demand has not gone down since particularly in the western side of
the country. I was very impressed with the way these were made and handled.
After I finished going through the selections, I talked to one of the available personnel and asked if there
were any cheap materials available for the month. He promptly answered in the affirmative, saying that
there were several poles with dents, scratches and other minor flaws. Instantly, these have to be priced
lower and were called “used flagpoles”.
When materials or products are handled, shipped and delivered, these can be prone to damage, scratches
and other imperfections that will require the manufacturer or seller to offer a much lower price than a brand
new and flawless item. Some individuals are very particular when it comes to the condition of the products
they get. Some won’t mind having some of the tiny flaws and effects especially if it means lowering the
price.
The problems on the flagpole are usually not visible especially if you’re viewing these from a large
distance. The finishes placed on the flagpoles will effectively hide the damage and cover the
inconsistencies with ease. Damaged aluminum flagpoles are generally cheaper.
Many of the used poles are made of aluminum and are found in most flag pole shops and retailers at very
low prices.
