Some of us are fond of displaying world flags in or at our personal spaces whether in our bedrooms, guestrooms, at the porch and on any kinds of vehicles. World flags especially that of our own country provides a patriotic feeling when it is displayed. Being an American such as I, when displaying an American flag, it can imply that I am from the United States of America and I am proud of it. It is quite surprising to know how a simple thing with simple design through a flag can say such many things about a person.
It is important to research about the American flag before buying one because there are so many are being sold in the market but they do not meet the required standards of the world flag. The dimensions such as the width and length ratio must be accurate. Be mindful to the details of the designs because each factor plays a critical role in the totality of the flag. Sadly, not all manufacturers are detailed oriented that is why be careful when purchasing a flag.
The American flag must have fifty stars because they represent the fifty states of United States. The stars must be inside the blue field located at the upper left corner of the flag. It must have seven red stripes and six white stripes. There are total of thirteen stripes that represent the thirteen colonies of Britain that declared independence.
