Fourth of July Flags: Flags For Heroes

We just celebrated the Fourth of July. It is also known as the first holiday of the summer. Memorial Day officially welcomes summer and Fourth of July comes in as the main occasion. The two holidays give due respect and credit to the people who fought for America’s liberty and freedom. They are the very reasons why we enjoy everything that we have today.

Our beautiful nation is represented by the American Flag. The flag is presented with much proud usually once summer comes in. You can see different places and government buildings being decorated with the Stars and Stripes together with other national symbols. Here in New England, plenty of families take time to showcase the flag right outside their home to mark their reverence and passion for the United States.

Beginning from the house, you will find a little church just in the middle of two roads leading to New York and the Connecticut coast respectively. The major road in town is attractive and is the ideal Main Street that will welcome individuals of different age groups to do a variety of activities. If you go the whole stretch and back, it spans two miles. Along the way, you will observe the community center, the famous fountain, old houses and shops.

Many runners, joggers and walkers take time to stop just in front of the little church in the past days. This is because of the 5000 American Flags that were positioned on the lawn of the church. It is a sight to behold.
