Flag Cases, Shadow Boxes, and Memorial Markers

A military memorial shadow box is a combination display case that has compartmentalized areas for service awards such as folded flags, medals, photos, documents, certificates, and so much more. It is similar to a display shelf but only more streamlined and less bulky. Some other things of value such as challenge coins, and reputable and distinguished memento such as plaques may be incorporated here as well. Protected by a glass hinged door, it is designed to protect and showcase its contents to viewers.

Military flag cases are smaller versions of the case stated above, and are more specifically suited for flags. They are designed to be hung or perched atop stands, thanks to their relatively lighter structure. Some of these cases may hold unfolded flags, and some even use them to store more eccentric items such as swords or hand weapons. Some even just use a wide flag case and use them to display a spread out assortment of documents, medals, or the like. Thanks to its versatility of being a more of a generic case, it may be adapted to suit other things to be displayed on purpose.

Memorial markers are given to any serviceman who has contributed much to his country, even as alive or as a passed on hero. It is similar to a heavy plaque or etched stone which marks the place where heroic stands and final resting places are. Even celebrated events participated by servicemen may be granted with memorial markers to commemorate the honor that these men have rendered to the country.
