About Lake Chad
Chad also boasts of having one of the most beautiful lakes the world has ever known – Lake Chad. The lake measures 17,806 square kilometers or 6,875 square miles. It is the 17th biggest lake in the world, just about the same size as Hawaii. Since early 2000, the lake has been one of the hottest sites that tourists flock to see each year. At present, many tourists come from France.
