If you’re wondering how the national of flag of Nepal looks like, it
actually features human faces on the sun and moon. Things changed,
however, when there were new elements introduced to the banner in
1962. The sun and moon showcased the lasting strength and resilience
of the citizens regardless of the challenges that come their way.
The background features blue borders and a crimson tone. Other forms
of art and human creations usually feature these colors in Nepal. If
you view the upper portion, you will find a white moon with eight
rays. The crescent is just found underneath. Another sun with more
rays is found at the base. Aside from representing long endurance, the
symbols represent different dynasties. Many government organizations
in the country still feature these symbols.
It is Nepal’s pride to freely fly its own flag. Compared to other
kingdoms, Nepal established its own constitution in 1962, thereby
featuring a brand new banner as well. You will notice the unique
symbols during international celebrations and meets.
Some of the items you find on the flag actually originated from
hundreds of years ago. Many countries were colonized by Great Britain
during the 15th century up to the 17th century. When these countries
later on were freed from the British regime, they began presenting
their own flag versions, complete with colors and details. When Nepal
gained freedom in 1947, the original elements of the Nepalese flag
resurfaced and some of these are present in the banner you see today
