Showing Street Pole Banners

Upon completing your design for your street pole banner, it would be wise to already have a spot location where you will be hoisting it. It is important to have a good location because this will determine the efficiency of your street pole banner or boulevard banner’s ability to be seen and noticed by passersby. Of course it would also be crucial to have the proper permits from your local authorities such as the mayor’s office, especially if your banners would be hung along a public road or in any public location. Here are some tips on maximizing your banner’s potential:

The street pole banner is best seen when it is hung. Rather than raised from a pole, a banner would better sway with the wind when its attachment would be at the top.

Another is to have a duplicate or two of the same banner to instill a repetition. For example, it would be good to place the same banners on the opposite ends of a road where an event would take place such as a street dance. As passersby would be entering the street, they would be seeing the banner with its event. As they exit the other end, they would be reminded again should they not properly absorb the information the first time around.

Another pointer usually overlooked is the use of the proper cord or rope. Since these street pole banners are exposed in public, as well as the environment, it would be wise to have a sturdy, industrial-grade rope that could support the weight of the banner. The length would also be good to take notice of, as it would not be good to have a very long cord hanging. Too long and it adds to the tension which may snap it off. Too short, and the banner may actually not sway or move properly.
