Things to Know about Soccer Corner Flags

One of the basic parts of a soccer field is soccer corner flags.

The flags are placed in the four corners of the soccer field to indicate the boundaries.

This is a standard item used both in professional or amateur competitions.

Corner flags are usually sold in sets of four but you can still buy individual flags if you only need to replace one.

These indicators are usually made up of a flag and a pole.

The flags are usually bright in color so they can easily grab attention.

Red, black, white and yellow are the common colors used but some also comprise combination of these colors in either striped or checkered design.

The diameters of the pole are usually half inch or one and a half inch and uses plastic materials like acetate or PVC.

Some of the newest poles may be folded in two or three folds to make it neat and convenient to carry in your bag.

Soccer corner flags may come in various colors and the diameter of the pole also varies but height must be in standard measurement which is 5 feet.

Corner flags are attached on the ground using several kinds of stakes depending on the type of surface where it will be used.

One of the most common stakes utilized on soft ground is the screw-type stake.

Another type is the spring loaded which has a tiny spring at the bottom of the pole.

This class of mounting is sturdier than the screw-type stake because it is more durable and flexible.
