I’ve always taken pride about being an American. If you see our house, we have a very huge flag that we display every Flag Day as well as other special occasions and national holidays. Our cars are also decorated with custom flag stickers featuring the American flag so that we can share the feeling of patriotism with others as we travel. Our front glass door also features a number of stickers that present the U.S. flag in different styles. Our kids placed these on the glass just after September 11, 2001.
What custom flags can mean
Every Independence Day on July 4, we celebrate how America was freed. Even if the special holiday only happens once a year, it is important for us to remember the lessons for the entire year. Regardless of whether you’re displaying the Old Glory at your house or inside your office, the message is very clear that you truly care about your country. I do this because I am thankful for being a citizen of the United States of America which is the greatest country in the world. The presentation does not have to be very luxurious since there are also basic designs that forward the message well. Some people might think it odd for me to display the flag everywhere I go but I do not mind. Especially after September 11, it’s vital for Americans to work together and spread the virtue of nationalism by placing US flags on their cars and in front of houses and stores.
Before September 11, flags have also been displayed during World War 2.
