Canada may be known as a very cold country. However, there are so many natural wonders that will truly impress visitors and the economy is generally stable, making it one of the most livable places in the world. Since the 1970s, Canada has been one of the most visited places and many from other countries intend to live there because of the beautiful environment.
Every nation will feature their flag and national anthem. Some are famous around the world, particularly the “Star Spangled Banner” of the United States of America and the Union Jack flag of the United Kingdom.
About the Canadian Flag
The Canadian flag can easily be distinguished from other existing flags around the world because of the red maple leaf, two red borders and the white square in the middle. O Canada features a very rich history and culture that will entice a lot of people.
In 1867, Canada officially became a country. It was first under the regime of the British Commonwealth. Centuries ago, the British flag was used and presented since Canada was still one of the many countries under the rule of the British empire.
From 1870 to 1922, the Red Ensign was used and featured. It stemmed from a British Merchant Marine creation and officially became the national flag of the country. The first flag showcased a red background, a shield with the symbols of the various provinces in Canada and the Union Jack on the upper left side. In 1945, the Red Ensign was shown all over the country.
